The "International Student Handbook" was a project I undertook in the summer of 2023, commissioned by the Pratt Office of International Affairs. By the end of August, the handbook was officially released to both new and returning Pratt students as a reference for campus life. Designed from the perspective of incoming students, the handbook is structured into four stages and concludes with an index. It encompasses an introduction to the handbook and the Office of International Affairs, pre-arrival preparations for coming to Pratt, essential tasks and tips for after arrival, and a comprehensive guide to the services Pratt offers to its students.

Carefully considering both print and digital reading requirements, the handbook’s dimensions and font size were chosen for optimal readability. Key sections, the table of contents, and the index feature convenient navigation links to ensure a smooth reading experience for the users. The design is grounded in Pratt's Visual Identity System, utilizing Pratt's thematic colors to delineate chapters and guide visual focus. Additionally, the use of pictograms offers a clear, image-based mode of communication, enhancing the handbook's overall clarity and accessibility.
